The sporty, modern, and sophisticated style of Patek Philippe is reflected in its iconic Aquanaut collection, renowned for the rounded octagonal shape of its case and its “tropical” strap, crafted from a highly resistant composite material that withstands both tension and UV rays.
The brand now presents the new Aquanaut Travel Time reference 5164G-001, equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, in its first-ever white gold version. A travel watch that simultaneously displays both local time and home time, offering functionality and elegance.
Through the sapphire crystal case back, the calibre 26-330 S C FUS can be admired, distinguished by its patented dual time zone display system, ensuring excellent readability and ease of use.
In this new version, elegant aesthetics are enhanced by the combination of white gold with a sophisticated blue-grey shade. The case, the patented bracelet clasp, the applied hour markers, and the baton-style hands with luminescent coating are all crafted in white gold. Meanwhile, the opaline dial and the composite strap, both adorned with the iconic Aquanaut engraving, feature the refined signature blue-grey tone.
On the left side of the case, two pushers allow for time zone adjustments: the lower one advances the local hour hand in one-hour increments, while the upper one moves it back, without affecting the movement’s precision. The skeletonised hand indicates home time and overlaps the main hour hand when the wearer is not travelling.
Additionally, the watch includes a date indicator via a subsidiary dial, which automatically adjusts when changing time zones, as well as two apertures positioned at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock, which display day/night indicators for each time zone.
Elegant yet casual, the emblematic Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time asserts itself once again in this first white gold version.
