To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet presents a remarkable innovation in horology: the Calibre 7138, a next-generation automatic perpetual calendar movement. This cutting-edge movement transforms the user experience, enabling intuitive adjustments to all functions via a multifunctional crown, simplifying mechanical corrections.
Developed with an emphasis on ergonomics, the new movement offers greater comfort and adaptability to contemporary lifestyles, while maintaining the precision of traditional perpetual calendars that track celestial cycles. This intuitive complication not only revolutionises functionality but also enhances legibility, providing an easy-to-use approach to timekeeping.
The Calibre 7138 makes its debut in several stunning timepieces, including the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 in 41mm, crafted in 18-carat white gold, and two Royal Oak models: one in stainless steel and the other in 18-carat sand gold. Furthermore, three limited-edition models, each with 150 pieces, pay tribute to the brand’s 150 years of craftsmanship, featuring special design elements that celebrate its legacy.
After five years of meticulous development and with five patents protecting this innovation, Audemars Piguet paves the way for new creative possibilities in watchmaking, setting the stage for the future of luxury timepieces.
