Aston Martin introduces the new Vantage Roadster, a convertible that joins the globally renowned Vantage Coupé as its garage companion.
This new model continues the brand’s transformation in the sector, setting new benchmarks for luxury and dynamic performance, significantly surpassing the capabilities and engagement of any previous Vantage. Now, the Vantage Roadster arrives to further elevate the true driving experience.
Powered by Aston Martin’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering 665 hp and 800 Nm, the Vantage Roadster offers the same performance, dynamic sensations, and visual excitement as the coupé, while adding the freedom and adrenaline of open-top driving, perfect for driving enthusiasts.
Designed to provide all the style, freedom, and sense of adventure inherent to convertibles, this new Vantage Roadster overcomes the usual design limitations associated with open-top models. As stunning as its hard-top sibling, with only a minimal weight increase and featuring a fully automatic roof system that is faster than any other on the market, the Vantage Roadster is a no-compromise convertible, earning its rightful place in the Vantage family.
With a legacy spanning 75 years, the Vantage Roadster continues Aston Martin’s tradition of creating open-top models, a legacy that began in 1950 with the launch of the Vantage engine upgrade pack for the DB2 (available in both coupé and convertible versions), which increased the power output of the 2.6-litre engine from 105 hp to 125 hp. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. In terms of performance, the brand claims an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.
This new Vantage Roadster takes the driving experience to the next level, further enhancing the appeal of this iconic British sports car, now combined with the most advanced technology. The first units are expected to arrive in the second quarter of this year.
