Colours leave a unique mark on every style and era. For Chanel, they form a playful language that connects the diverse realms of creation. This upcoming season, Chanel redefines its aesthetic codes: monochrome, the boldness of a total look, and daring twists that, without hesitation, create surprising harmonies.
Double sets, colour-blocking, or mix-and-match… No option is off-limits. The freedom to craft technicolour makeup looks inspired the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio and Cometes Collective member Ammy Drammeh to design the Spring-Summer 2025 collection.
In this vibrant and playful collection, intense colours collide joyfully or blend softly into tone-on-tone looks. Always unpredictable, these bold shades express a timeless style that is elegantly refined.
The poetry of colours
A deep violet, a shimmering mint green, a warm matte beige, or a satiny calamus pink… Shades with effects ranging from luminous to velvety, sparkling, or matte evoke images of silk ribbons, ethereal chiffon, polished shoes, and iridescent pearls. All of Chanel’s creative universes harmoniously converge in this collection, united by colours that enhance the skin’s natural beauty: elements suggesting poetry, delicacy, and the purity of nature.
The collection’s looks invite intuitive experimentation and endless personalisation, thanks to interchangeable colour combinations designed to complement each other with a single touch of colour, a halo, or a simple line.
Style in pairs
The Spring-Summer 2025 collection revolves around four colour palettes, merging the concepts of colour-blocking and mix-and-match into a true celebration of early spring. Each duo set, featuring an Ombre Essentielle eyeshadow and a Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner, presents a tone-on-tone pair that explores different finishes.
Rouge Coco Baume
As coveted as a lipstick, the lip balm now comes in a new version with enhanced shine. Its nourishing formula provides up to 16 hours of continuous hydration, making lips more beautiful with every use. The six new shades offer buildable coverage, from a sheer tint after one application to lipstick-like intensity after three layers, for a personalised makeup look.
Jeux de Lumières
The star product of the collection, the Jeux de Lumières palette in XXL format, was created to make colours shine. When opened, it reveals four illuminating powders for the face, eyes, and décolletage, which can be applied to desired areas or used as highlighters. The four shades complement all skin tones, delivering a luminous, satin finish. The powders can be used individually, paired with another shade, or blended together.
Le Vernis
Two soft and milky nail polish shades complete the look right down to the fingertips.
