Through an ultra-limited edition collection, the eccentric Italian fashion house Pucci revisits Guerlain’s iconic makeup products for this fall. This new line, which boldly celebrates color, is the result of a collaboration between Camille Miceli, Pucci’s Artistic Director, and Violette, Guerlain’s Creative Director of Makeup, who combined their talents to create a collection marked by intense color contrasts.
Pucci holds a unique place in fashion history as an iconic house established in Florence, renowned for its luxurious avant-garde printed fabrics created by founder Emilio Pucci. Since Camille Miceli took over as Artistic Director in 2021, the brand has been revitalized with a new energy, full of joie de vivre, vibrant colors, and refined details.
The Marmo motif, designed in 1968 and inspired by the sun’s ripples on the Mediterranean Sea, has now, under Miceli’s direction, been given magnetic tones with psychedelic influences. For this exclusive collection, the Marmo pattern adorns the packaging, standing out with its gold enamel finish and vibrant colors. These precious items have become collector’s pieces, containing color palettes specially curated by Violette.
Rouge G, Guerlain’s iconic lipstick, takes center stage in this fall collection. Redesigned for 2024 with a sleek case and gold finish, Rouge G blends modern elegance with an innovative formula composed of 89% skincare ingredients and enriched with lily oil, offering a satin or velvet finish. In this edition, it’s available in two shades: Marmo Twist and Le Rouge Vibrant.
The highly pigmented, long-lasting Ombres G eyeshadows are offered in an original palette of four matte shades. Camille Miceli and Violette created the harmony 045 Marmo Vibe, which combines orange, violet, black, and white for an artistic, avant-garde look. The eyeshadow case is also decorated with the emblematic Marmo pattern.
The Terracotta Marmo Sun bronzing powder, featuring a trio of shades, recreates a luminous bronzed effect. The iconic Terracotta compact comes packaged in a high-fashion fabric pouch with the Marmo pattern, complete with a gold pendant representing the Pucci logo.
The collection also includes Météorites Marmo Swirl pearls, presented in a Marmo-patterned case and accompanied by an exclusive brush, transforming this set into a true fashion accessory.
Behind the creation of this line, a campaign was filmed during an intimate fitting session, where Camille Miceli and Violette applied makeup to model Natalia Vodianova, highlighting the Marmo pattern and the creative spirit of this unique partnership between fashion and beauty.
