Lisbon was the chosen setting for the inauguration of the first Patek Philippe boutique in the Iberian Peninsula. Resulting from the close collaboration between the iconic watchmaker and David Rosas, the new and exclusive space spans three distinct areas, inviting clients to immerse themselves in the universe of the prestigious Swiss brand.
Located at 12D Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, and covering approximately 200 m², the newly opened Patek Philippe boutique occupies the entire ground floor of a building with a historic facade and classic style. Designed with great sophistication and attention to detail, the new space reflects Patek Philippe’s innovative vision, bringing a part of the Swiss watchmaking world to the heart of Lisbon.
“This exclusive boutique represents the strong bond that has united Patek Philippe with Lisbon for 25 years; we have achieved the perfect balance between Swiss solemnity and Portuguese warmth and joy – a combination that gains its meaning through the hands of our clients, the true protagonists of this space,” emphasized Mario Gimenez, Patek Philippe’s General Manager for the Iberian Peninsula.
Three spaces, three distinct but complementary experiences
Designed to provide a unique experience for visitors, clients, and high watchmaking enthusiasts, the new Patek Philippe boutique in Lisbon is divided into three distinct areas:
The first, more relaxed, features a private bar, inviting clients to unwind and enjoy the welcoming luxury of the décor, alongside the personalized service of the Patek Philippe team.
Next is the boutique’s main area, where individualized counters allow for close and detailed conversations with the brand’s consultants, enabling clients to explore and compare different models from the iconic Geneva-based watchmaker.
The third and final space is a VIP room reserved for the most enthusiastic and demanding clients who wish to discover the latest releases and the watchmaking art of Patek Philippe in a more exclusive and private setting.
Natural and warm lighting ensures a unique experience in a cozy environment highlighted by the combination of emblematic materials such as birdseye maple and Indian rosewood, with sophisticated vintage polished brass finishes.
Pedro Rosas, CEO of David Rosas, explained, “With the opening of this boutique, we aim to elevate the image and visibility of Patek Philippe to new heights of excellence in our market and, above all, provide a unique client experience. Only a very select group of cities worldwide will have the privilege of hosting a boutique from the brand, so we are very excited and honored that Lisbon was one of the chosen locations.”
David Rosas is currently one of the most prestigious Portuguese brands in the luxury watchmaking sector, exclusively representing Patek Philippe for almost forty years.
