Africa remains the primary source of inspiration for the Baobab Collection, which presents a fall-winter 2024 collection inviting a sensory and visual journey through the slopes of the Atlas mountain range, surrounded by Berber villages and the charm of Marrakech. Through its home fragrances, the brand pays tribute to Morocco, celebrating the beauty of a land rich in history and mystery, launching a special limited edition collaboration with artist and photographer Serge Anton, whose images adorn the bottles like authentic pieces of Orientalist art.
The Koutoubia of Marrakech, the sunset over the city of Essaouira, and the kasbahs of Skoura infuse homes with a decorative and sensitive aura, reminiscent of a painting. A portion of the sales from this Orientalist collection, consisting of candles and diffusers, will be donated to the Actions@Village association, deeply involved in rebuilding schools in Berber villages affected by the 2023 earthquake. The craftsmanship of its glass artisans has brought to life the Atlas collection, evoking the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and the iconic blue of the Villa Majorelle. The Toubkal, Tichka, and Majorelle candles, made from colored wax, are scented with incense, Atlas cedar, and orange blossom.
In homage to the land, the Ksar collection, crafted in sculpted ceramic, is inspired by the earthen structures of Berber villages. Featuring three glaze colors in exclusive candles, they bear evocative names like Sultan, El Glaoui, and Pacha. Baobab Collection’s expertise in screen printing is also highlighted this season, with the Marrakech and Caravan candles and 500 ml fragrance diffusers that will adorn tables and envelop spaces with floral or spicy aromas.
The My First Baobab journey continues with a “collector’s” Advent calendar, where scented candles and cosmetics combine for a complete olfactory experience, ranging from space decoration to personal care. The art of gifting extends to unisex hand wash sets, featuring golden or silver metal bottles and a 350 ml refill.
