With the beginning of the renovation of its iconic Lisbon boutique, Maison Cartier is opening a temporary space on the second floor of the building it has occupied since its opening in 2013, located at 240 Avenida da Liberdade. The temporary boutique, covering more than 100 square meters, will remain open until mid-November 2024, with access through the entrance at 240 Avenida da Liberdade.
The interior of the new temporary boutique is inspired by Parisian apartments, featuring traditional wood paneling on the walls, combined with nature motifs and the vibrant colors of traditional fabrics, paying homage to Portuguese craftsmanship and referencing Cartier’s floral motifs. Iconic collections such as Trinity, Love, Santos, and Panthère, along with accessories and perfumes from the maison, are displayed in the spacious and bright space of this temporary store. The windows overlook the facades of Avenida da Liberdade and Alexandre Herculano Street, enhancing the sophisticated ambiance characteristic of the maison’s creations. Delicate oak wood panels with frosted glass lead to the boutique’s private room, whose interior contrasts with the rest of the décor, thanks to furniture in shades of blue, highlighting Portugal’s significant relationship with the sea. The temporary boutique is a living showcase, a celebration of timeless elegance that reflects the rich heritage of both the city of Lisbon and Maison Cartier.
