Celebrating the adventure and the eternal dream of travel, cultivated from the beginning by Christian Dior, the Dioriviera collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, is now reinvented and echoes a joyful and lively solar energy.
A symbol celebrated by the Creative Director of Dior women’s collections, the toile de jouy is revisited here in two unique versions, through sketches of lush nature or a constellation of suns. For this season, they are revealed in a palette of refreshing tones, ranging from navy blue to coral, through aqua green, powder pink, and lemon. The emblematic patterns, in bright tones, bloom in a series of dresses, skirts, blouses, and tops, composing a summer wardrobe imbued with freshness and spontaneity.
Named “Toile de Jouy Sauvage” and “Toile de Jouy Soleil,” these variations unfold in a collection of beachwear and accessories, such as ponchos, foutahs, and pareos, as well as silk scarves, also adorned with the iconic houndstooth pattern. The patterns grace the Lady D-Lite and Dior Book Tote bags — and are even reinterpreted in wicker for the Lady D-Joy.
Inspired by Mediterranean elegance, which translates into the Dioriviera charm, straw hats gently punctuate these looks, as well as Dior Sun leather sandals or Dway mules, redesigned as platforms and subtly enhanced with the “Christian Dior” signature.
To complete this enchanting universe, the essential Dior Maison summer items include yoga mats, umbrellas, and sun loungers. A selection of delicate decorative objects, tableware, and embroidered cushions extends this tribute to a sweet lifestyle, with a touch of dolce far niente and lightness. The line is already on display at various resorts and pop-up stores, from Cannes Nammos to D-Maris, Hawaii, and Sanya, and promises a timeless interlude, set in environments that seem carved in shells and feature wild animals in relief and life-size.
