The most iconic store in the coastal town, known for its wide range of premium and luxury brands, reopens its doors with a new interior design project, signed by the architecture studio Cardinali & Gazzabin Architects. This redesign includes the development of a luminous concept, with the store windows enlarged to allow natural light to enter the interior spaces, enabling passersby on the street to admire the interior of this store, right in the center of the village of Cascais.
According to the architects, Loja das Meias is a dialogue between land and sea, envisioning the store as an elegant and contemporary fashion space for an even more engaging and seductive shopping experience.
Pedro Miguel Costa, great-grandson of the founder of Loja das Meias, stated in a press release: “Loja das Meias has always been at the forefront of the fashion world for over 120 years, and undoubtedly, the demand for luxury products was the main driver to completely renovate the Cascais store. Being located in a village that has been characterized by a very high-quality offering in terms of hotels, golf courses, resorts, and international events, there is a growing audience of both nationals and foreigners seeking luxury fashion.”
