This time, the national creator draws inspiration from Lisbon’s famous light, “both in the way it sets us apart and in the magical attraction it has on those who rediscover us.”
The Portuguese creator challenges us to “transcend the power of our vital energy, enriching our mind, body, and spirit, in an opportunity to redesign ourselves, sustainability, and inclusion within the entire environment, improving social impact and communing with the entire Universe.” And, for that, Nuno Gama thought and designed a collection, “Luzboa,” which reflects and expresses the “human desire that characterizes us in nurturing kindness and compassion, in a succulent, heart-to-heart embrace.”
In beautiful Lisbon, with the Tagus River as a backdrop, the national creator’s collection conveys a message of unity between the new and the timeless “of our roots, in which the interplay of contrasting volumes justifies the forms, of a more relaxed, solid, and slender silhouette.” The pieces, made with natural materials, dialog with others, technical and innovative, declined in pastel tones and soft gradients of shades or with shine/matte effects. The “Luzboa” collection is about just that, giving space and opening our hearts and minds to the importance of “being, feeling, healing, flourishing, and dreaming again,” on a palette that dresses us from morning until sunset, covering us in neutral beiges, but also lilac, peach, or vanilla, and speaks to us about the “immensity of a fascinating blue sky, which merges over the Tagus and the pastel colors of Lisbon’s houses.”
For Nuno Gama, it’s all about promoting the “deep comfort of the eternal quest for a safer and more peaceful future,” based on the generosity of the best handmade, “in a kind sharing of inner peace, evoking, at the same time, a modernity, calm and unique to our beloved Lisbon.”
