To enhance the ‘made in Italy’ beauty and the free spirit of the GranCabrio, Maserati’s latest creation is dedicated to all those who love life and traveling with the wind in their hair: a car that is a true travel companion to discover the world — “The all-new Maserati GranCabrio. Our Ode to Joy.” To celebrate its new convertible, the Italian brand hired director Marco Gentile, a visual storyteller who infuses European cinematic style with American production values, and is responsible for campaigns for brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Volvo, Grey Goose, Lexus…
The video, entrusted to the production company Movie Magic, reflects Marco Gentile’s vision and artistry — winner of a Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2010 — and places the Maserati GranCabrio in the warm and vibrant atmospheres, and in the breathtaking landscapes, of Salento, in Puglia. The territory, with its wonderful pristine landscapes and discreet and exclusive luxury corners, embodies the most original and characteristic Italian spirit with its unmistakable attitude that symbolizes Italy’s joyful and contagious lifestyle.
“Sings as if no one is listening. Love as if you have never been hurt. Dance as if no one is watching. And drive as if the best is yet to come,” is the aphorism chosen to define Maserati’s expression in creations like the GranCabrio, a sports car capable of providing the best comfort, to savor every kilometer of your life.
About Maserati
The Italian brand produces a complete range of unique vehicles, immediately recognizable for their extraordinary personality. Thanks to style, technology, and innate exclusivity, they captivate the most refined and demanding tastes, always being a reference for the global automotive industry. A tradition of successful models, each redefining the concept of Italian sports car in terms of design, performance, comfort, elegance, and safety, currently available in over 70 international markets.
Maserati’s lineup includes the Levante, the brand’s first SUV; the Grecale, the “exceptional for everyday” SUV; and the GranTurismo, the iconic Italian Grand Tourer, all characterized by the use of the highest quality materials and excellent technical solutions. A range equipped with 4-cylinder hybrid engines — available for the Grecale and Levante — and gasoline V6 engines, with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, incorporating the brand’s performance DNA. At the top of the range are the super sports car MC20 and the Spyder MC20 Cielo, powered by the innovative Nettuno V6 engine, 100% Maserati, which for the first time incorporates F1-derived technologies into a mass-produced car engine. The new GranTurismo is available with both the high-performance V6 gasoline engine, derived from the Nettuno, and with a 100% electric version: the GranTurismo Folgore, the first model in the history of the Modena brand to adopt this solution. Currently, the fully electric range also includes the Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s first all-electric SUV. By 2025, all Maserati models will be available in a fully electric version, and the entire Maserati range will operate solely on electricity by 2028.
