The powerful new Vantage reinforces its position as the definitive front-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car. Representing the latest in the famous lineage, the new Vantage is the epitome of the Aston Martin sports car and the brand’s fastest, most driver-centered Vantage ever. It is a genuine and pure celebration of performance, designed to offer maximum thrills with total confidence.
With deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2024 and with a renewed design from a contemporary perspective, the Vantage retains the characteristics that have won over enthusiasts over the generations, but which are increasingly difficult to find in today’s sports car market. As such, the Vantage boasts impressive power, extremely precise handling, and the perfect balance of a meticulously tuned front-engined and rear-wheel drive chassis.
This new Vantage reflects the most dynamic period in Aston Martin’s 111-year history. A notable force in the 2023 Formula 1® season, a dominant presence in international GT racing, where the Vantage has a rich history as the most successful endurance GT racer, and – with the recent announcement of Aston Martin’s quest for outright victory in the Le Mans 24 Hours race with the Valkyrie AMR in 2025 – a top contender in the World Endurance Championship.
Powered by a 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine, meticulously revised and hand-assembled, the new Vantage reaches the highest speed in the brand’s history. With a peak of 665 HP and a colossal 800 Nm of torque, this model also registers the biggest increase in power and torque compared to its predecessor, with increases of 155 HP and 115 Nm, representing increases of 30 per cent and 15 per cent respectively.
Paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, this engine is more than enough to propel this sporty two-seater to a top speed of 325 km/h and bring it to a halt from 90 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Both the shortened final drive ratio (3.083:1) and the transmission gear calibration have been optimized to maximize response and driving pleasure. The former provides more intense acceleration on the move, while the latter reduces shift times and offers different shift characteristics to suit each of the Vantage’s dynamic modes. Complemented by the electronic steering differential and the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), the Vantage has the ability to adapt to the demands of a challenging alpine road or an open race track at the push of a button and flip of a switch.
From the first glance, it’s clear that the new generation Vantage represents a paradigm shift. With a body 30 mm wider and a more robust stance, it stands out for its completely redesigned front end, where the grille, with 38 per cent larger contoured veins, allows for a 29 per cent increase in airflow for better cooling. Other air vents placed in the bumper, on either side of the grille, emphasize the characteristics of the front end, while the new integrated spoiler, wider and lower, adds drama and aerodynamic function, providing high-speed stability by reducing lift. This distinctive front-end treatment is complemented by the new design of the Matrix LED headlights, which feature Aston Martin’s new lighting signature.
On the other hand, the new Vantage brings back the iconic Aston Martin side trim, which now stands out as the focal point of the revised vents on each side. The standard 21-inch forged alloy wheels perfectly fill the wider wheel arches, creating a resolute stance that conveys power and poise in equal measure. The frameless exterior mirrors and door handles are also new features on the Vantage, while the wider rear bumper with side vents and four larger diameter tailpipes ensure that the Vantage looks as dramatic at the rear as it does at the front.
Vantage owners have the opportunity to further accentuate the vehicle’s sporty character by choosing between three main paintwork designs. With a selection of 21 colors available, customers can choose to include a paint stripe and/or additional detailing on the rear. As with all Aston Martin models, Vantage owners can explore a wide range of personalization options through the service Q by Aston Martin. With the expertise of the Q department’s designers and craftsmen, customers embark on a unique personalization experience, which can involve anything from small, distinctive details to the development and production of fully customized components, resulting in a truly exclusive model.
Despite being essentially a high-performance sports car, the Vantage doesn’t compromise in terms of design, comfort, or equipment. In this sense, the new generation Vantage makes an impressive statement with a completely new interior that displays impeccable architectural lines, high-quality materials, and state-of-the-art technology, including a surround sound system developed in partnership with Bowers & Wilkins, providing an extraordinary listening experience.
