The classic men’s chronograph reference 5172G-010, heir to the emblematic Patek Philippe models of the 40s and 50s, is distinguished by the original color of its dial and the movement with traditional architecture, associated with six patented innovations. Patek Philippe continues to focus on the vintage spirit of this model, now endowing it with a golden opaline dial in rose gold combined with a white gold case that gives it an extremely elegant color contrast.
The dial features a small seconds hand at 9 o’clock, applied Arabic numerals and gold-tone syringe hands. In addition to indicating the hours and minutes, they are finished with a white luminescent coating that allows perfect and immediate legibility day and night.
The reference 5172G-010 beats to the rhythm of the manually wound caliber CH 29-535 PS. This movement stands out for its architecture, in which six patented innovations have been integrated, such as optimized tooth profiles, better gear penetration adjustment and self-adjusting reset hammers. Furthermore, the Geneva manufacture, honoring perfection, paid special attention to the functionality and performance of this watch, adding technical details that make it an exceptional piece. The model also features a shiny chocolate brown crocodile leather strap, with square scales, hand-sewn. The clasp is removable and decorated with the classic Calatrava cross, Patek Philippe’s emblem.
This and other Patek Philippe models are available at David Rosas.
