Quinta dos Monteirinhos is a winery located in the Dão region, in the city of Mangualde, Viseu. The wines, Avó Fernanda Reserva Blend 2022 (white), Menino Afonso Reserva DOC 2019 (red), and Monteirinhos Espumante Blanc de Noirs Brut (for the cocktail), will be served and tasted at F Club’s lunch on February 2nd.
Spanning 20 hectares of vineyards cultivated in granitic and schist soils, the property is surrounded by hills and picturesque natural landscapes, offering panoramic views of the surroundings and the Serra da Estrela. This estate, belonging to the Monteiro Albuquerque family, has been producing wines in Dão for over 100 years and 7 generations. “Monteirinhos” is the affectionate term used by locals in the village for the younger members of the family. They produce wines and sparkling wines known for their exceptional quality and elegance. The red wines are particularly noteworthy, with fruity and floral aromas, soft tannins, and balanced acidity. The white and rosé wines are fresh and fruity, with floral and citrus aromas. On February 2nd, members and guests of the F Club will have the opportunity to enjoy three varieties of wine from Quinta dos Monteirinhos during the lunch that will be served at the Grande Real Villa Itália.
