The launch of the Bentayga EWB (Extended Wheelbase) Mulliner marks a new pinnacle for the Bentayga family and indeed for Bentley’s model range, adding a new level of modern craftsmanship to the already powerful combination of supercar performance, go-anywhere capability, driving dynamics, and limousine rear cabin. Bentley’s customization division, Mulliner, presents this version as its current flagship model. The most luxurious car in the lineup, it transforms the SUV into a beautifully adorned limousine and officially becomes Bentley’s new flagship model in Europe and beyond.
Focusing on lavish interior and increased space, the Bentayga EWB Mulliner comes with two distinct interior configurations and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. Powered by Bentley’s highly potent 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 542 hp (550 PS) and 568 lb.ft (770 Nm) of torque, it seamlessly blends limousine comfort with exceptional performance for a car of its class—reaching a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). A chassis featuring Bentley Dynamic Ride (48V active anti-roll control), rear-wheel steering, and three-chamber air springs provides the EWB Mulliner with all the dynamic capability of the standard-wheelbase Bentayga, making it a car for skilled drivers as well as a luxurious SUV limousine.
Distinctive exterior elements include exclusive 22-inch wheels with self-leveling badges, while the front stands out with the ‘Double Diamond’ grille and Mulliner’s chromed lower grille. Both are complemented by uniquely designed ventilation openings and dual-tone Satin Silver exterior mirror caps coordinated with the chosen body color. As part of the standard equipment, this model utilizes the Bentley Diamond Illumination system, featuring tiny LEDs (12 in each front door and 22 in each rear door) that project light through perforated leather less than 1 millimeter thick, illuminating both the interior and the area around the car.
Elegant and distinguished, the rear compartment of the cabin, available in 4+1 and 4-seat configurations, features the Bentley Airline Seat specification—the world’s most advanced automotive seating system—as standard, accommodating occupants with unparalleled comfort. The Mulliner Harmony Diamond quilt for the seats and doors is a result of craftsmanship that elevates the interior to a truly pinnacle position. The Olive Tan leather, extensively used throughout the cabin, undergoes a sustainable tanning process using an organic product from the olive oil industry. This technique requires less water than conventional tanning methods and also offers higher concentrations of renewable chemicals, resulting in incredibly soft organic leather. Bentley Motors is the first automaker to utilize this industry-leading Olive Mill Wastewater (OMW) technology from leather manufacturer Pasubio SpA. There’s also an option to choose Wilton pile carpets made exclusively from pure wool, Grand Black veneer finish, three-dimensional diamond-milled finish on the central console, and Mulliner embroidery on each seat. As an additional touch, owners receive a presentation box and matching pouches for the Mulliner keys, reflecting the chosen three-color combination.
It’s worth noting that Mulliner is Bentley’s bespoke commissioning division with a heritage tracing back to coachbuilding since 1760. Established to cater to the most discerning customers’ needs, the custom division is globally recognized for crafting some of the most individual Bentleys ever created.
A synonym for luxury, the new Bentayga EWB Mulliner joins the ranks of the Flying Spur Mulliner, Continental GT Mulliner, and Continental GT Convertible Mulliner—each at the top of their respective model families.
