Continuing the unique partnership between Paris 2024 and the LVMH group, the Parisian fashion house is delighted to welcome Franco-Portuguese gymnast Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos as the new ambassador for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, set to take place next year in the City of Lights, a place cherished by Christian Dior.
Born in Martinique, a French Caribbean island, and the daughter of a Portuguese father who lived in Brazil, Mélanie joins the panel of muses of the luxury French brand as a Christian Dior ambassador.
This isn’t the first time the 23-year-old has crossed paths with the maison, as she recently posed for Dior, which selected her for a photoshoot last April. A quadruple European champion in artistic gymnastics, Mélanie has just won the team bronze medal at the World Championships in Antwerp.
In the context of this partnership, the group led by Bernard Arnault emphasizes its intention to “accompany and directly support athletes whose journey is exemplary and makes them architects of all victories.” Undoubtedly, this is a passionate association in the name of excellence, reflecting Dior’s unwavering commitment to supporting and nurturing the dreams and talent of the younger generation.
