Dior has just unveiled the new Plan de Paris pieces, celebrating the streets of the French capital, from Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, where the founding couturier began, to 30 Avenue Montaigne, the iconic and current address of Dior that exudes the excellence of savoir-faire.
Conceived and designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and first presented at the Spring-Summer 2023 ready-to-wear fashion show, the map of Paris once again adorns the selection of charming creations for this season, including the J’Adior pumps and Dway mules. Like an invitation to stroll, this pattern—shaded in beige and gray and beautifully graphic—also comes to life on Lady Dior handbags and the Dior Book Tote. Irresistible, the Lady D-Lite is reinvented in a version adorned with delicate embroideries that reveal iconic Parisian monuments. The biggest surprise comes when this print also elevates an exquisite box containing an exclusive pair of Dior Tribales earrings: adorned with elegant pearls, they are sublimated by a pendant in the shape of the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe, sewn with bead details resembling a jeweler’s ribbon.
These new pieces can be discovered in the brand’s boutiques and pop-up stores from Beijing to Seoul. An ode to the magic of the City of Lights, which has been a constant inspiration for the maison since its creation in 1946.
