A luminous fragrance that captures the solar beauty of southern France, Diorivieira, Francis Kurkdjian’s first Dior fragrance conveys the love story between Christian Dior and the French Riviera, and draws inspiration from its solar beauty.
Inspired by a warm sunny day in the French Provence, the irresistible and addictive smell of May roses in bloom, and the warm breeze through the fig trees, this eau de parfum composed by Francis Kurkdjian is a fragrance with a bold and balanced intensity.
Combining two concepts in one name: the south of France, his source of inspiration, and Paris, the city where this eau de parfum was created, Dioriviera incarnates a solar state of mind and an epicurean art of living.
“The inspiration for the Dioriviera fragrance came suddenly in Provence, in the middle of a field near the La Colle Noire estate. The southern sun was shining, the May roses were blooming and a warm breeze was blowing through the leaves of a majestic fig tree, my only companion. This magical moment remained engraved in my memory and, at that very moment, the desire to create a perfume arose. Upon returning to Paris, a creative period began during which I gave shape to this love at first sight, elaborating the contours of its olfactory silhouette and transforming the idea into my first fragrance for La Collection Privée. Dioriviera is a stunning and radiant composition. It is a casual, modern beauty with a sun-drenched scent that conveys the love between Christian Dior and the French Riviera”, explained Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creation Director – Parfums Christian Dior.
Floral fruity, carried by the contrast between the soft rose and the green fig note, Dioriviera is a bright and exhilarating, joyful and festive fragrance that can be worn year round. It is a scent you make your own and rediscover throughout the day.
