From brunch with tropical flavors, to dinners and lunches full of freshness, with ideal cocktails for hot weather, this hotel unit welcomes summer with a limited edition of the season’s aromas.
Hot days are here and they already ask for lighter and fresher flavors. How about a cocktail with friends after work? Or a Sunday family brunch? What if it’s lunch or dinner any day of the week? Until August 31st, InterContinental Lisbon presents a menu that promises to delight and refresh all those who want to enjoy the flavors of the season.
The special summer menu at the Akla restaurant now offers options such as bigeye tuna tartar from the Azores and miso and sesame puff pastry for starters. As for the main courses, the Josper roasted vegetable salad with creamy feta cheese, truffle caviar and toasted macadamia nuts reign supreme, and the chanterelle mushroom risotto with saffron filaments and caramelized chives. To end this gastronomic journey and sweeten the palate, the new proposals are: Red Lady (Biscuit Joconde with raspberries, confit pineapple and strawberry and ginger sorbet) or Choco-Citrus (entremet with wasabi ice cream and yuzu gel).
On Sundays, the highlight is brunch, which now includes fresh and tropical elements such as Bowls with frozen yogurt, Pancakes with grilled pineapple and mascarpone cream or Waffles with lemon cream and Oreos. Summer salads are also present on this menu, where burrata, mango and basil stand out. And of course, the different eggs and toast with ricotta and peach or beet hummus, pesto and mushrooms could not be missing. In addition, kids and adults can also create their own pancakes on Live Station with the ingredients they prefer. There will also be a space dedicated to children, where they can have fun playing console.
If the option is to take a break for a drink and discover different mixologies, there are also three new cocktails to try at the InterContinental Lisbon bar: the Rosemary Peach (Gin Mare, peach liqueur, lime, sugar, sparkling wine and rosemary), the Bubbly Cherry Nuts (Ginjinha, Frangelico, lemon and sugar) and, without alcohol, the Mango Tonic Garden (mango-orange juice, coriander, lime, sugar and Mediterranean tonic water).
