A building built in the 16th century hosted the July lunch of the F Club. In the heart of Lisbon, on a bright sunny day, The One Palácio da Anunciada opened its garden to welcome the members, guests, and friends who are part of this networking club.
The arrival of the guests and entrepreneurs, who always share their incredible stories of success and resilience, was accompanied by a welcome drink and smooth jazz music played by saxophonist André Moisés, thus creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The mentor of this club of businesswomen, Fátima Magalhães, thanked everyone for their presence and after a pleasant get-together, lunch followed in the imposing Hall of Mirrors [Sala dos Espelhos], one of the most beautiful rooms in this charming palace, initially built as the Monastery of Anunciada.
On the round tables covered with white tablecloths, the floral notes reminiscent of the summer that had almost just arrived, made a unique contrast. On each of the chairs lay a souvenir kindly offered by Sensai. The General Director of the Japanese luxury brand in Portugal, Marta Black, explained the reason for the gift, referring that the facial products from the Ultimate line delay the signs of aging, bringing back balanced and radiant skin.
The menu for this summer lunch, masterfully created by the executive chef of this five-star hotel, featured a surprising amuse-bouche, followed by a fish dish and a meat dish, and ended with a very fresh chocolate and red berry dessert.
Throughout the lunch, the guest speakers shared their experiences, explaining that to make your way in the national business community you need to overcome obstacles and follow with determination. Starting this triplet, Olímpia Pessoa Pereira, CEO of By Travel Lumiar, spoke of the importance of travel tailored to travelers’ dreams and the memories that everyone who travels with her company keeps for the rest of their lives. Sandra Maciel, founder and CEO of Scout Concierge, a company dedicated to offering personalized services to foreigners who choose Portugal to live, work or invest, recalled the early days, saying that only extreme dedication makes it stand out from the competition. And finally, F Club newcomer Marina Cardeal de Sousa spoke about the brands that her company, CVMG, represents, including the real estate company KW Exclusive and the Iberian representation of Eco Logic, a brand of kitchen disposals.
It was in this intimate and sharing environment that the usual draw took place, featuring very eclectic gifts, ranging from an Eco Logic kitchen disposal (from CVMG) to a luxurious Montblanc agenda and a set of Roberto Cavalli accessories, ending with a Great Lengths treatment for silky hair.
With the final toast, Fátima Magalhães thanked everyone once again, following with a heartfelt promise of more news and an unforgettable rentrée, at the same time wishing everyone happy summer holidays in the company of F Luxury, the magazine that always provides a good reading.
