In two years of existence, for the first time, an F Club event coincided with International Women’s Day, which made this new meeting even more special, given that it is a club where women are the focus.
Mónica Seabra-Mendes, one of the leading specialists in the luxury segment in Portugal and guest speaker at this luncheon, was the first to speak, having presented her interesting activity as a teacher at Católica Lisbon Business & Economics and as a founding partner of the Affluencial platform, intended for consultancy and training in the luxury management segment. Her words inspired all the women present about the designs of luxury in our country.
The Geneva room, at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, which received the guests and members, was decorated in spring tones by Sofia Gama, from The Event Co., who also created a personalized table setting. Flowers predominated, both in the decoration and in the detail offered by F Club to all the women present: a rose inserted in a small, personalized box with the club’s logo.
Being a very special day, there were several interesting details that qualitatively punctuate this event. At the welcome drink, which took place in another room of the hotel and featured animation by a DJ, reunions and new contacts happened naturally. Once in the Geneva room, Fátima Magalhães and Elmar Derkitsch, General Manager of the Marriott Lisbon, flanked by directors Paula Morgado Lino and Diana Michelli, welcomed them with messages alluding to Women’s Day.
It was with great pride that we managed to get Dior to be associated with this event as a beauty brand. In addition to making known various news, the representative of the agency that communicates Dior Beauty in Portugal spoke about the offers that the brand distributed to all guests and members.
During the event, it was the occasion for the member speakers to make themselves known, with a particularity: the three renewed their plans in the F Club. Hotália Almeida, who combined her skills to create a new project, presented her Hotália Home brand and spoke about the novelty of opening a physical store. Marília Pastana, the owner of Marília Pastana Clinic, spoke about her most recent venture, the VIP Academy, and revealed her volunteer projects. Closing the cycle, Izabel de Paula explained what her activity as a Body Shaper Expert consists of and made known the extent of her business, with clinics using her patented method in Portugal and across borders.
The harmonious atmosphere that was felt in the Geneva room was only interrupted again to give way to the usual and relaxed moment of the draw for members, which featured gifts from André Opticas, EmporSpirits, Loja das Meias and Roberto Cavalli. As it was a truly special day, all those present also received personalized candles from The Evento Co., accompanied by inspiring phrases, as well as chocolates from Imppacto.
Punctuated by interesting contacts and sharing, the lunch ended with Fátima Magalhães thanking the presence of the guests and members, as well as the Lisbon Marriott Hotel team, underlining the importance of International Women’s Day today and launching the invitation to the event in May from F Club.
