At the beginning of 2022, in May, Mercedes-Benz presented a super luxury concept based on the Maybach sedan called Haute Voiture. Now, the German manufacturer has just launched the production version limited to 150 copies of it, which will be available in the first quarter of 2023.
The limited-edition model features many opulent upgrades over the standard Maybach sedan, including a two-tone Nautical Blue and Light Shimmering Rose color scheme for the top and bottom, respectively. The wheels are also finished in the same nautical blue hue. In addition, Haute Voiture also gains immersive lighting, with animation. Inside, this ultra-luxurious special edition features the same blue and pink color combination. The nautical blue hue appears on the door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel, while the seats are upholstered in crystal white leather.
Elevating the sophisticated luxury quotient of this special edition even further, it features linen and mohair rugs. A special badge on the center console indicates the production number of the 150 units. The MBUX infotainment system is also given a unique look to emphasize the catwalk atmosphere.
In addition, the Haute Voiture comes with a handmade box that features a scale model and plate number. Alongside this, customers are offered special coverage with the Maybach and Haute Voiture logos.
A line of luggage was also developed for this series model, which will be available at Maybach Icons of Luxury stores and online. In different styles and dimensions, the bags are made with materials selected from the interior of the vehicle, combining haute couture extravagance with hand-finished work.
“The intricate features and unique design elements are what make the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture one of the most extravagant models we’ve ever created – it represents sophisticated luxury in its purest form,” says Gorden Wagner, Mercedes’ Design Director. “Our customers have access to the most ambitious lifestyle, so we wanted to reflect that by creating something totally desirable and using components never seen before in a Mercedes-Maybach.”
