The setting for the F Club‘ September lunch allowed Lisbon and the Tejo River to be seen in the background, on a day when the blue sky toasted all the women present with a message of optimism and good cheer. More than 50 businesswomen gathered at the Eleven restaurant for a few hours of networking and synergies.
At the beginning of fall, on a sunny day, the fourth executive lunch promoted by the business club F Club, led by Fátima Magalhães, proved that the success of this networking among women is here to last. On the first floor of one of the most beautiful restaurants in the capital, Eleven’s partner and chef, Joachim Koerper, who already has a career spanning 50 years, received the CEO of F Luxury, Fátima Magalhães, who, with him, finalized the final details.
The day seemed to be full and Fátima was just a few hours away from receiving the more than 50 distinguished guests at the lunch organized by F Club, of which she is mentor and founder. All the commitment in structuring and designing yet another business event was supported by several partners and the result could not have been more rewarding. At the entrance, the welcome table was topped by the latest edition of F Luxury, by the teas of the national company Infusões com História and by all the gifts to be offered during the event… The flowers, from Boutique 107, decorated and perfumed the tables. The buzz of conversations began to build. On the top floor, as they arrived, the guests gathered, who were able to taste the wines from Herdade da Malhadinha, kindly provided by the national company, and represented by Rita Soares, manager of Garrafeira Soares and Herdade da Malhadinha Nova. Márcia Dias, painter, exhibited there some of her most recent works, from the Metamorfose collection. The natural light that passed through the room’s large glass planes amply illuminated not only Márcia’s work but also seemed to greet, with a special energy, all the women who greeted each other, almost two months after the last time, for some, when they had been together. For others, this was their first meeting promoted by F Club.
In the restaurant room, after the moment of welcome, the spirit of animation continued. Between a surprise amuse-bouche by the chef and the entrance, the first guest speaker, the doctor Marta Padilha, specialist in anti-aging, summarized her activity to the entire audience and answered some questions related to the theme. Débora Montenegro followed, who presented the very special collection of jewels created for Leitão & Irmão, a reputed Lisbon house. Helena Amaral Neto, professor of Finance at ISEG, mentor of the eco-design start-up Tela Bags, specialist in the luxury sector and founder of Luxulting, Luxury Consulting, also guest speaker at this luncheon, explained below how Portugal embraces luxury today and why we should look back on our country with pride. And hope.
Lunch was being enjoyed, between conversations and greetings, exchange of cards and smiles. The atmosphere was guided by good humor and optimism. And that record was maintained until the end, which this time advanced into the afternoon.
The CEO of Vanilla Dynasty, Adelaide Nunes, a national company that operates in the areas of Events, Weddings, Hostesses and Beauty on Demand, as well as Image Consulting, continued the schedule of interviews, describing its activity and how it is each increasingly sought after and needed in the business world. Marta Monteiro represented Lusoclinic, a rapidly growing Portuguese company in aesthetic medicine. Before dessert, refined and highly praised, Sónia Paiva, image consultant, experienced financial and manager, with a full academic career and a book signed in co-authorship with several specialists, closed the intervention agenda with a golden key.
Fátima Magalhães introduced the new members of the club, thanked everyone for their presence, reinforced her iron will to bring together more and more women entrepreneurs, with talent and creativity, who can do, and already do, more for a country like ours.
Finally, the excellent teas of the lunch partner Infusões com História were tasted, with Miguel Moreira explaining the pairing between the infusion served and the moment of dessert.
