The 16th of July marked the second F Club lunch, this time in the classic and enchanting setting of the Palacete at the Hotel Tivoli Avenida, in Lisbon. In the Condes de Sucena room, a group of women from various sectors of Portuguese business life gathered. Another success in the female. One more milestone to mark the young life of this club.
A day of good weather, Lisbon with its wonderful light, a leafy garden and, above all, an atmosphere of good energy, warm, punctuated by the beauty and smiles of all those present, visibly happy to be together there. It will not be an exaggeration to mention that, as a welcome, and right at the beginning of the event, this was the feeling felt and shared by all.
A dedicated and exemplary organization (Focuspremium), where every detail was meticulously thought out, from the chosen space to the decoration of the tables, whose center, beautiful, had the signature of Boutique 107, of the management and dedication of the entire staff of the Hotel Tivoli Avenida – to whom we express our heartfelt gratitude here – for the choice of the menu and the background music, for the untiring support of all the partners and brands that were with us at this summer lunch (Utopia by Gilles, official partner of the event, Clarins, Boutique 107, Wine Executive Club, Hotel Tivoli Avenida, Loja das Meias, Dsquared2 Lisbon, Bvlgari and Eisenberg).
Amid conversations and greetings, photo and filming sessions, laughter echoed, the sounds of crystal glasses in the many toasts and that of the saxophone. The general good mood prevailed, the feeling of a long-awaited reunion and of ‘we’re here again and it’s good’. Fátima Magalhães, CEO of F Luxury and hostess of the event, mentor and founder of F Club, received her guests in a beautiful two-piece white suit, visibly happy that, after the unknowns that still surround us all in times of pandemic, having finally managed to bring together a group of talented women, from various areas, from Beauty to Interior Design, from Fashion to Coaching, from Aesthetic Medicine to the Financial sector.
José Gil, from Utopia Jewels, inaugurated the lunch, as representative of the official sponsor brand of this event, summarizing in a few words, and with some humor, in line with the general environment, the history of this successful jewelry brand – interestingly, we highlight the predominant note of white in the room, like the white of the pearls from Utopia Jewels, seen in the dresses, skirts, pants and handbags of many of those present. A sign, so far, of harmony, obviously not combined, but certainly very happy.
Luísa Peixoto, the biggest name in the panorama of interior design in Portugal, with work done in the country and all over the world, collaborations with international brands and, recently, curator of a large project at the invitation of AICEP, opened the interview session, after the introduction of Fátima Magalhães. In the time available, Luísa reviewed the almost 25 years of her career – to be celebrated in January -, in a highly inspiring speech for a curious audience, who got to know, in images and through her words, a successful path in the field of design and the home row. During lunch, at the round tables with flowered centers, business cards and exchange of ideas were distributed, the essence of these meetings promoted by the F Club.
After Luísa Peixoto, it was the turn of Tatiana Fortes, the CEO of the Mente & Saúde clinic and a specialist in emotional and executive coaching, who touched everyone with her message: “focus and mindfulness”. A member of the F Club, Tatiana has been dedicating a large part of her time to this discipline, fundamental for emotional balance and with all the good consequences that this represents, in so many areas of life. Particularly business life. Another woman followed, businesswoman Alexandra Gil, partner, and CEO of Groupnew, whose company is dedicated to the home sector, in all its fullness, from real estate to construction, design and manufacture of kitchens and closets, the elaboration and execution of projects in the areas of Architecture, Interior Design and Decoration, including the Concierge service. Marília Pastana, the young force of nature behind Brows & Co Lisboa, closed the cycle of interviews, visibly moved when describing how her company and her work are so important for rebuilding the self-confidence of all who seek her out, whatever age and gender.
In this environment of friendship, solidarity, and joy, of testimonies told and so many stories shared, the afternoon continued with the drawing of many gifts, offers from the partners associated with the event. Fátima Magalhães made one last and, she, too, emotional intervention. The closing one, guided by the passage of an important message: one of gratitude, strength and ‘let’s continue here’. In her words, the desire to bring these and other women together again was clearly expressed, in an atmosphere that only a women’s club like F Club achieves, not without effort, that of all those involved, and to whom we also leave, in by way of final summary, with a big thank you.
The next meeting is already on the agenda, and being planned, so dear readers and partners, more moments like this await you: empowerment, creativity, strength, and a lot of talent in the feminine.
